Gayle Mayfield-Venieris, the principal of the firm, offers the unique combination of extensive, practical business experience, coupled with solid legal experience. Since 1991, she has directed her firm in successfully handling transactional and litigation matters in the areas of Business, Real Estate and Civil Litigation.
Gayle Mayfield-Venieris’ early work career involved working with a variety of companies, including high-tech and chemical companies. After 20 years of working in business management positions, Ms. Mayfield-Venieris made the decision to attend law school. She chose Western State University (now Thomas Jefferson School of Law) and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While there, she received several awards for her abilities, served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Review and was published in the university’s Law Review. Following admission to the Bar, she co-founded DeHaan and Mayfield, and later founded Mayfield & Associates.
Gayle Mayfield-Venieris is a member of the American Bar Association, San Diego County Bar Association, North County Bar Association, and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. She has also served as a director on various non-profit boards.
In addition, Ms. Mayfield-Venieris is a long-term appointed panel attorney responsible for representing indigent material witnesses in Federal court.
